Because he is supposed to do that, or he is hurt, that is about it.. The script writers tell the wrestlers to do certain moves in certain ways, so yeah, i think RVD should get another move instead of Five Star Frog Splash

rvd is a great wrestler and wwe is making him hold back otherwise that back injury that bob holly got will happen to every one of rvd's opponents
the five star frog splash does hurt him but he has to keep doing it since its his signature move

He doesn't have to do the Five Star Frog Splash for real, but he does any way. Have you ever jumped off a 6 foot turnbuckle and land on your stomach first!?

how is it boring? RVD is probably the most underrated WWE superstar ever. You must think Cena doing the same 6 moves in a row is exciting!

He doesn't hurt himself when he does it he just does what is called selling the move when he jumps on to them and then rolls over "in pain" you feel for him.

lol. it does hurt stupid, have you ever tried jumping 10 foot into the air and land on someone! its hurts him, but not nearly as much as it hurts his opponent. btw wrestling is scripted so he doesnt land on his stomach, he lands on his hands and legs, his ribs still hurt though
