How do u get along w/ ppl who don't want get along w/?

I got myself into a new line of work! The bad part of it all is that all of the 3 employees on the store I work in hate me & I hav to wrk their like 8 hrs! How am I suppose to survive this? Note I hav committed myself @ least 3 or 6 months just so I hav something to put on my resume!

There are going to be jerks at every job. Do your job to the best of your ability & ignore them. You don't work to find friends.

TELL YOU WHAT to do with impossible employees. I MADE them cookies.ANd started to be nice. THEN if they have a BIRTHDAY get then a card and a nice thought from the dollar store. FIND something they did good or great and brag about them in front of the other employee. SAY IT LIKE THIS: HEY ***** did you know that ***** can type 700 words a minute? THAT impressed me so much.FIND things they really did well around your work and tell them.

How do you know they hate you? Have they said so? If they did well, you should ask them for valid reason for them saying so. Just keep doing your job to the best of your ability and keep being positive and friendly, if they cant see how nice you are, forget em and move on. Maybe they feel threatened or intimidated by you, do you have more experience? or does your employer treat you better than them? Jealousy and insecurity could play a big part in the way they treat you.

I've been in situations where people hated me at work, too. Sometimes it was because I'm black, sometimes it was because I'm female, sometimes it was because I was an obnoxious beautiful spoiled twit, and at least once it was all three!

I learned to enjoy it. I looked for their difficult attitudes, mean faces, wry comments, jealous twinges, etc., to make my day. I, of course, was unfailingly polite and sweet, only pulling out the whip when necessary.

Some of those people became lifelong friends. Carry yourself as if you are a rock star, and these folks are your groupies. Train them to approach you from a distance, so that they think twice before making faces and hurling insults.

You will have valuable lessons learned, so don't sweat it.

You need to remember this for the rest of your life: People never change in the work place. Sure their faces look different, they have different names and have different habits but in the end it's generally the same people over and over.

Unless you plan on owning a company follow one simple rule: Business is business the personality game should be for home and play.

When I focus on that one fact alone most of the jerks at work become insignificant.

Put it on your resume now. Then find another store to work at. Just say you wanted a raise. Probably true. You probably shouldn't even mention that were working with jerks.

always try to be naturally nice to them, think positive, pray that soon they will realize that you are part of their team and needs to get along with........ those 3 people are just human like you and me and as human, they have a heart to feel to someone who is being nice to them.... DON'T GIVE UP IMMEDIATELY! you will get their feelings sooner or later.............

You can choose to find some things about them that you could like... find out what their birth signs are & do a study of their signs... there are postive qualities in everybody.
