My daughter had one on her hand and we froze it off. There is a little bump now developing exactly in the center of the healing skin. Does that mean it was not a wart?

You say "we" froze it off. If that means you did it at home, then you very likely did not get it all, even if you used one of the over-the-counter cryosurgery kits that are available in some areas. Warts, which are caused by human papillomavirus, are extremely contagious, and often recur even after removal by a physician. I suggest you consult a dermatologist.

Not necessarily. Warts are very contagious. It could be that when the previous one was frozen off, the doctor may have left behind some seeds. Warts tend to be very seedy.

While it's still small, try soaker her hands in warm water and them apply Compound W. See if you can't just get it to go away on its own.

Good luck!
