I'm tiny (5"1") and my boyfriend is also only 5"8". Since short parents tend to have short children, will we end up having short children?

The height of you and your boyfriend probably wouldn't effect you if you are'nt dwarfed by some getetic defect. I have seen 6'6" tall men and thier dads were 5'10". It all depends on health, and believe it or not there grandparents height, hair, facial features and all that tend to skip generations...

does it really matter if they're short?

height is inherited. i'm exactly my mom's height, my sister is a smoker and happens to be an inch shorter than me. my dad is also short. i'd rather be short- i can wear heals

NOT EXACTLY.MOST CHILDREN TAKE AFTER THEIR GRAND PARENTS,I DID.MY FATHER WAS 5'7 MY MOM IS 5'6 MY GRAND FATHER WAS 6'0 I AM 6'1.ON THE OTHER HAND MODERN DIETS HAVE CHANGED OUR GROWTH PATTERNS

no, my father and mother are really short. but me and my brother are taller them. i am 5'6 my brother is 6'3
