Can you ovulate at different times of the month? Also, I had sex a couple days after my period was over and I should be showing signs of ovulating now and am not, could that mean I'm pregnant or can you still ovulate after you get pregnant? How long before you ovulate do you start getting that discharge? Someone please help.

I don't know a whole lot about ovulation, but I do know of a website that can caculate when you are ovulating and help you plan when you will be most fertile based on your menstrual cycle. Go to the following site and see if that helps you.
www.babiesonline.com
Click on home and then press go there. Towards the bottom will be a link that says Caculate your ovulation...or somtething close to that. Then just follow the directions.
I hope it helps. I am working on getting pg with number two as well, and that site has been a great guide.

You only ovulate once a month, you cannot ovulate after you are pregnant. However a woman can ovulate at any time after her period unless you have a regular 28 day cycle then you ovulate around the middle of your cycle. When you ovulate you get a very thick stretchy discharge, BUT not all women do, like me, I never got any discharge during ovulation, so I didn't really know when I ovulated, so I bought an ovulation predictor www.fertilefocus.com and that is how i knew i was ovulating. After you get pregnant then you start getting really wet, like you are leaking fluid all the time! but that is about 2 weeks after you get pregnant.

You could probably benefit from reading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weshcler. I recommend the book to anyone trying to get pregnant. It also helps you understand your body and help prevent pregnancy.
You seem to be a bit confused about how things work. If sperm finds the egg after it is released (ovulation) and it implants in your uterus you are pregnant. So, you can't ovulate after you get pregnant. You need ovulation in order to get pregnant. Even if both ovaries release eggs, it happens at the same time.
As far as how long after seeing discharge do you ovulate--it depends. It varies from woman to woman.
Every woman ovulates at about the same time in her cycle. It might not neccessarily be in the middle either.

You can ovulate any time your body feels like it. Its normal for women to ovulate at different times of the month from time to time. We dont cycle like the tide. Despite what youre doctor wants to believe or try to make happen.
Generally you do not ovulate after youre pregnant, in a very VERY few cases a woman will ovulate from both ovaries within a couple days of eachother. But you cannot be pregnant and ovulate a few weeks later. Doesnt work like that.
Usually once you have ovulated and the ovum is in place for coming into contact with sperm, your cervical mucus will become thinner, clear and more stringy, as this allows safer passage for the sperm cells. Much like egg white.

Most people ovulate 14 days after the 1st day of their period (if their cycle is the normal 28 day deal). That being said, you can become pregnant anytime, not just when you ovulate. If you think you are, go buy a cheapo pee test. They are pretty accurate. As far as the discharge when you ovulate, I have no idea. Mine was never regular so I never paid attention.

Well the first question is did u use protection?
If u didnt u should start worrying but u cant normaly tell ur pregnant until ur nxt period but if this was a really recent incident when u had sex u can prevent pregnancy, you will need to go to ur GP or local family planning clinic and get some medical advise ASAP.
Taking contraceptive pills at this stage (if u are pregnant wont help u it will only harm the baby and make u ill) so go and get medical advise asap.
Hope i have been of some help.

YOU ARE PREGNANT......When I was trying to get pregnant my Dr. told me to start having sex on the 10th day after I started day 1 of my menstrul cycle. and to continue having sex for about 7-8 days. I only had sex 2 out of the eight days and guess what, I have been pregnant ever since. I had been trying for months to get pregnant.
