I have an 3 yr implnon implant which is now 18 months overdue to be removed. Has anyone got any experience of getting pregnant with an implant? How long should it take to get pregant after the implant is removed ?

i had the implanon implant removed last october and i fell pregnant in february of this year. everyones body is different though. the main thing to do is to relax, dont get stressed and let nature take its course. i would also suggest that you make an appointment at your local family planning clinic to have your implant removed if its been over 18 months since you should of had it taken out. good luck.

was you supposed to have it removed 18 months ago? i don't understand that part of the question, if it is out of date you can get pregnant because the implant is no longer working, i have had my implant in for two years now. you can get pregnant as soon as an implant is removed as it doesn't get in your system like the pill does.

I`ve had a 5 year implant inserted abroad in 2000,removed 4 months overdue in March this year.I conceived in May this year.I would,however advise you to arrange to have your implants removed as soon as you can.Good luck,mate!
