i've been with my boyfriend for 6 months and when we talk on the phone there's nothing to say we dont' talk..does this mean that we have onthing in common? for some reason i don't open up to him ccause i think so highly of him and dont share much with him..what do i do? can u give me some topics and ideas to talk about?

If you two are still enjoying each other's company and spending quality time together in which you both are satisfied, don't worry about the phone thing. You might just be one of those couples who enjoy face to face contact more than the phone thing. As long as you are happy and satisfied and trusting, forget about the phone thing. Don't let this sabotage your relationship.

Well, truly no one can give you things to talk about. But, you can come up with somethings like the things that interest him. You can either go to or rent a movie then discuss that, play games, take walks in the park, go to the mall I'm sure you'll find or see someone or something to talk about. Now you say you've been together for 6 months you have to have had something in common that brought you guys this far. Like for instance my boyfriend and I have totally different taste in music and most movie, and things to do outside of the home but, however I start doing things that he like and he started doing things I like so then we had a lot to talk about, try it.

According to my experience, there might be the case. If you really wanna keep on the relationship, you really should read some extra books to find the topic, sharing the idea with him. At moment, it is pretty boring to ask " how are you going today?", "What did you eat for lunch/dinner/breakfast?" Find something attractive!!

Do you both not talk to each other or what? I would say that if you don't trust him, to open up to then why be with him?
I know that this is your issue but it would feel like being on a one sided relationship there.

mabe he's not a phone person. you dont need ideas it should come naturally. do you talk more when your in person? if not your probably not ment to be. think about this relationship do you always wanna be with someone if they dont have anything to say to you? mabe you should find someone who wants to have conversations and wants to share there selves with you

If you cant be open or comfortable with him you need to find someone that you can feel that way towards ..... don't be with someone that you feel is more highly than you ... You should be EQUALS no one higher than the other.... Good luck..

it could be anything.. maybe you have nothing in common or maybe you're both just too self-conscious to open up to each other.. people with different interests can talk about their interests so that they can let the other person know what's so interesting about it..
