I keep going to edit profile and putting my interests in...you know, General, music, movies, television...the stuff in that box, but everytime I put them In, I go back to check and see how it looks and it's gone. Everytime. Why does it keep disappearing? Help!

Go to the bottom of the page that your putting your info on and look for save my info or updated info and press and save you have to save it for it to stay ....

It may depend on your layout. If it is pre-made, it may be made to not include those titles. You can google online-and add extra info tables.
