Whether a roommate, family, spouse, sibblings, etc. Ladies & Gentlmen isn't it a well known fact that the females usually request that the men in the house put the toilet seat back down after they use it? Why, because most of us females have experienced at least once getting a cold, wet butt, from sitting (falling in) that nasty bacterial filled toilet water! Not a good feeling and yuck!!! And who wants a possible vaginal infection? No one!
It's happened to us females, for instance, when you wake up in the middle of the night half sleep to use the bathroom, or it's dark , or you just have to pee so bad, you pull down and sit down without noticing the seat is up. It seems most men don't have a problem with such a little request - may forget sometime - they're only human - some it takes a while to train them to, or nag them to, etc. What do you think about a man that for 10+yrs, lives 3 females complaining but just won't put that seat down out of consideration for them? A minor thing!

I know what you're talking about and i used the "oh i forgot to do it, i'm human not a robot," excuse before too.
What worked for me was to put a sign on the door that says "Put seat down after use."

try it out.

Toilet seats go both ways for a reason - you're a big girl, if it's up - put it down. Guys have to sit down on occasion as well, and know what? Not once in my life have I fallen in!! Yes, I try to put the seat when I'm in a home where a woman resides - but y'all need to quit acting like this is some vast conspiracy and a big deal - it isn't. Just look before you sit - seems logical to me.

Well first off we aren't dogs so you aren't training us. Second if you've been with a guy 10+ years and he doesn't put the seat down then he is being an azz. It's not a big deal to just flip the seat back down.

Why don't you put the seat up after you are done? That way, you both share the work. See, a guy already has to put the seat up to go pee. Then you want him to put it down again? If you put it up after you're done, he can put it down after he's done. Equal workload. It's the same thing you're asking him to do. Or, just tell him to leave it down all the time. That way, he can pee all over the seat. At least you won't fall in.

He is just stubborn and refuses. Sounds like you are fighting a losing battle. You might want to do like I do since I live with my 2 sons. Every single time I go I must wipe down the seat regardless if there is anything there or not. I have made this a habit at home or in public. So now its really not an issue.

it really isn't any longer that enormous of a deal, yet like the guy above you probable must have knocked. yet see you later as you probably did not do something else to that lady then you actually are nice. As for the lady only shop agreeing with what she says ,inspite of the reality that it will likely be annoying, only because human beings like her received't end till they get what they prefer. So only shop nodding your head and ultimately she will be able to easily end

You are right. Out of consideration, most men do put the seat down. It seems that your man wont, maybe even purposely. Maybe you can do something to bother him to make him understand, like leaving your feminine hygiene items lying around.

Tell his butt if he can't do it find another bathroom. That would get real old real quick. 10+ yrs u would think by now he'd do it just as a natural thing.. Guess some men never learn are just don't care. There not the one's falling in we are.
