Make sure you you keep your eyes moist with drops for contact users (there's a different between regular eye drops and drops for contact lenses). Also, try to clean the lense out at least once a day. If you can't soak, just rinse off with the cleaning solution, one at a time.
If you experience increased irritation or redness, then take them out and give your eyes a rest.

the biggest thing you need to worry about is infection. I wouldn't do it on a regular basis. Your eyes may not get enough oxygen and they will dry out at night. You don't produce the tears you do by blinking during the day. You should also take them out daily and clean them to avoid getting bacteria buildup that can cause blindness if left untreated. Take them out at least long enough to clean them and then put them back in if nothing else. I couldn't wear contacts that long...they'd dry out so bad they'd adhere to my cornea. THAT is serious. So beware....if they dry out bad enough during the night you may be in for some major problems. Besides, they aren't extended wear, right? IF they aren't extended wear (which are thinner and more breathable and made for sleeping in) then you should definitely take them out at night.

You should be fine, but don't get in the habit of sleeping in your contacts. Someone I know did this too much and was just diagnosed with an ulcer on her eye. The doctor said that if she did this just a few more times, she could have lost her sight.

not that you should do this, but should you ever be stranded on a desert island for a week or two, your contacts and your eyes will be fine, you can skip a day or two, your eyes won't turn to jelly or anything. But it is best to clean them once a day. And yeah, the acuvue two's are great, I used to wear them. good stuff

i might take them out each and every night if I have been you. I also have a nasty habit of not doing that and to enable you realize the fact, not something undesirable has surpassed off yet. yet I even have heard dissimilar horror thoughts approximately it. My sister-in-regulation surely have been given them caught to her eyes and she or he's very fortunate she will nonetheless see. you additionally can get very undesirable eye infections. The longer they are in, the bigger probability. in case you pick for to not take them out regardless of the undesirable issues you hear, a minimum of throw the previous ones away after the time your eye well-known practitioner says. which will fairly help and could be extra valuable than not something. i for my area desire that i surely might study to not be so lazy...i don't prefer hardship with my eyes and it could ensue to absolutely everyone. yet like I suggested, it would be lots safer and extra valuable in case you used them precisely as meant.

I done the same thing...leaving them in for 2 days straight. It didn't hurt my eyes or anything but you have to make sure that they stay moist. Get some of the rewetting solution.
