when I came here dec.58 one could not find nicer people on earth in New York.....then in the 60th the hippies came in...dirty, uncombed hair, uncommon sex....most of you too young to remember....

Let's blame them for 9/11, the Kennedy murders, Iraq, Iran, Communism, food allergies, pollution, nuclear weapons, ebola, AIDS, cancer, leprosy, etc. etc.

Yeah, let's blame all evils of society on the soap-dodgers! That really makes sense! And is really useful too!

I think I would start the blame with the US politicians. Remember how dirty and secretive they were? And all the wars made their friends and themselves huge fortunes. These politicians' actions brought on a revolt by the hippies, the ACLU, etc... and the American Dream has never been the same.

Somewhere we exchanged family values and togetherness for lets see how much stuff we can accumulate . With out discipline , family security , and respect for others , we simply slide further down all the time .
However I'm sure we are not the only place that this is happening .

The people that were her in '58 are the same people two yrs later. Decades change and so do the people. Are you just now catching on??
