I got a new computer and i lost all the music that i downloaded but i still have it on my ipod. so i don't have to go through the process of downloading them all over again, is there anyway i can convert my music that's on my ipod back on to my computer? you're answers would be amazing for me so i can save time. thank you!

Yes, reinstall the I tunes software and then import the music back into the itunes software

1) Make sure you aren't automatically updating your iPod on iTunes.

2) Connect your iPod to your computer.

3) Go on Edit, Preferences. This brings up the preferences screen, blocking iTunes from stopping you accessing your iPod's hard drive.

4) Go into my computer and find your iPod

5) Make sure you can see all hidden files and folders.

6) Go into your iPod & find your iTunes.

7) Copy the master folder with all your iTunes in it.

8) Paste this folder on your computer somewhere.

9) Right Click on the folder and change properties, so that it is not just Read Only.

10) Add your pasted folder into iTunes. Et voila!

theres software that you can buy that does that. I used Ipod Music Liberator when I had that problem.

You can, but it requires a special program. I can't quite remember the name of it right now. Try going to your nearest Staples or CompUSA (or nearest Apple provider).

I got mine from CompUSA.
