Don't use alcolhol it'll dry it too much and the surrounding skin. For caring for it use a mild face wash. You can also try putting a dab of tea tree oil on the area and rinse it off. a little goes along way so does patience. It'll go away better in the end. You don't want a scar or to spread the bacteria to other pores but "popping" it either. Use a light moisturizer for combo skin. Then before your date use a green concealer wand (phs. formula makes a good one) green cancels red. Then apply your regular make-up.. Have a great date!

For immediate help, use ice. Wrap it in a paper towel and place on the blemish. If it hurts, it will start to feel better.

As well, for any inflammation, you can take an Advil if you are not allergic to ibuprofen or aspirin.

DON'T pick at it, the redness will get worse.

Sorry yet I would desire to tell you: do not POP YOUR zits! only bypass away it on my own - it is the only way. in case you like a pimple to return to a head swifter (that way you may pop it without unfavourable your epidermis), boil some water and dip a cloth or a Q-tip in it. gently press the nice and comfortable cloth or q-tip on the pimple. try this each and every couple of hours. it is going to start up occurring or come to a head interior of 24 hours. it quite is the final thank you to regulate zits.

I heard about this & then I tried it --TOOTHPASTE! Put a tiny amount of toothpaste on the blemish at nighttime. It will look better by morning & it won't hurt as much either.
