Hulk Hogan can't wrestle either and he was champion several times. Steve Austin's character did not wrestle much, mostly he punched and kicked, yet he was a multi time champion. Vince is not particular about wrestling ability as much as he is entertainment ability. If you can sell the most tickets, then you will be champion. I don't like Cena in either case as a wrestler or entertainer. It is true that he cannot wrestle. Mostly he relies on punches, fist drops, and power moves. As far as an entertainer, he not much of one. He basically got the title by default. I don't see very many charismatic characters in the WWE now. No one like the Rock, Stone Cold, or Hulk Hogan. Since someone has to be champion, Cena evokes the most emotion and he is at a young age, Vince has made him champion. If the WWE would develop better characters through stroytelling, Cena would easily be demoted to upper mid-card status.

A wrestler doesnt have to be good at wrestling to be champion and people say he is a bad wrestler because he is. He can't do the moves he does well and the moves he has in his arsenal are not that great. Through most of his matches you will only see him throwing those gay *** punches and doing the F-U. That is it and he is champion because he has an upcoming movie and he is champion because wrestling sucks right now and unfortunatly he is the most "interesting" persona in WWE right now, his fans are girls and 12 year old who think he is cool if there was someone with charisma like John Cena and had better wrestling abilities he would not be champion.

Because he has some charisma, thats what matters these days in wrestling if it wasnt charisma then Chris Benoit would be the number one guy in the company, Cena cant wrestle, yes he has a few moves but much like Bret Hart they are predictable and you can see them coming, i think he knows how to kiss Vince's ***, he knows the right people and gets on with the right people, its the only explanation because unless ur blind and im guessing that you are he just cant wrestle

A person that uses six wrestling moves and dresses like a thug isn t champion material... Vince was getting tired of all the constant whining that Edge was holding the belt.

He can wrestle and he gets the crowd going. Yet I'm sick of seeing him as champ. There are other qualified people who deserve a shot at the title and could carry the company.

Wrestling is fake. He's champion because the WWE writers want him as champion. They want him as champion because he makes money for the company. He makes money for the company because he sells tickets & merchandise to little kids like you and women who are most of his fan base.

How often you see Cena do that?Cena can't wrestle,his STFU suck his FU suck even more.The FU don't have that much power and the STFU,he does it so terribly.I know you like Cena but you can't expect the world to like him.

Because it's SCRIPTED and you and your 12 year old friends buy his crap with your allowance money! If it had ANYTHING to do with pure talent anymore,Kurt Angle would probably be champ and not on TNA now.

its becuase kids like you bought his merchandise. WWE doesnt care about wrestling anymore. thats why the cruiserweight division is buried every week on SD!
