Since you say you are not a drinker, I would either suspect a medication you are taking or some other kind of disease process. I would definitely check in with your doctor about this.

The source below lists these causes:
* Medications, such as certain nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cholesterol-lowering medications, antibiotics and anti-seizure medications
* Drinking too much alcohol
* Obesity
* Diabetes
* Elevated triglycerides
* Infection, such as viral hepatitis and mononucleosis
* Autoimmune disorders of the liver and bile ducts, such as autoimmune hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis and primary biliary cirrhosis
* Metabolic liver disease, such as hemochromatosis and Wilson's disease
* Excessive use of certain herbal supplements, such as kava, comfrey, pennyroyal and skullcap
* Tumors of the liver or bile ducts

Hepatitis, bad diet, soda, alcohol. Go to a specialist and get this checked out. If it's diet related start eating healthier and get some Milk Thistle supplements for your liver. The good news is that the liver can regenerate itself. Good Luck!
