I use BikiniZone. It's an ointment that you apply after shaving and it eliminates the irritation and bumps.

I discovered that using an anti-itch lotion with generic benadryl or cortisone lotion after shaving works very well at preventing these bumps after shaving.

well, my wife shaves her vagina and underarms everyday and never has any bumps. she says its because she shaves it everyday, not just as needed. using a fresh razor is also key. apply lotion (unscented) as soon as you get out of the shower!
