well I started watching porn at a young age, I use to wait until my parents leave the house and then go in their bedroom and watch my dad's VHS tapes. I learned a lot from porn it showed me how to suck D*** and many other positions.. when I did have sex.. my partners thought I was the BEST!!!LOL...But i guess it's best to just monitor your kids closely and since they are introduced to sex alot earlier nowadays teach as a parent the responsiblity of sex so they won't learn something wrong from elsewhere and /or someone and end up pregnant or with a disease...

You know, I saw my first porn when I was 9 (or 8). The thing is, the problem is not so much that they watch pornography; it's that they don't realize that's not the way you usually have sex! And that's the parents' fault!

Yes, it's getting easier to ger porn (Internet...). But parents should really talk to their kids about sexuality. Teen (mostly men) have always masturbated a lot! They always will. But the problem is that, I agree, it seems that they can get their hand on plenty of different material, some of which is a bit "weird", and they don't necessarily understand that these are not common practices.

Anyway. Don't blame porn itself: blame the parents! My cousin used to watch porn when he was a teen (and so did my neighbours); they didn't turn into perverts! But it depends on the environment they live in: if their parents are open-minded, or if they have friends whose parents have explained them the basics, and/or if they've had sexual education (which should also involve talking about love, relationship, kinky taste, respect for the partner, and so on), they should be fine.

Not really. I was a young teen when I started to look at porn. I learned a great many things from it. I'm now a paramedic and have a good life. Where was the harm? There was none. I don't run around screwing every guy I meet, or have an STD. I'm not sure why sex and porn are looked at as taboo, but there are no real reasons. We are told its bad and why and we go along with it.

Children have always been facinated by what adults do. Sex and pornography are the basis of things you can't really get away from as much in life.
Society is now becoming more and more receptive and don't mind as much to th idea of using pornography. What is worrying is that children might be tempted to undergo underage sex just because of a fascination instead of using self control to think through their choices first.
In my case the first time I have seen a fully naked woman was 6 months old (an airtress was living next door sunbathing naked) and I watched my first glimpse of porn when I was 4. I was mature about it.
So what I am saying is, that as long as people remain mature and sensible about it, I don't see too much of a problem but it might get out of hand when children undergo underage sex. Let's face it, it's getting harder and harder to turn away from such things, might as well as finding was to get used to it.

I think it's just part of the general trend seen whereby parents are incresingly lacking any kind of discipline, control or responsibility for their own offspring and they rely on a series of scapegoats to blame for this.

If parents realised that the internet and TV are not harmless and didn't let their 3-year old buy GTA and play it alone in their rooms then this would be a better world. But no, it's our fault for allowing television to be made in the first place.

Personally I don't care about young kids watching porn. If their parents don't care about them then neither do I. (Unless it's the stuff I made then as long as they paid for it i'm happy. Can't stand pirated porn!!)

We used to giggle about anyone knowing what sex was in the school yard when we were kids, now you by pass that and watch porn on the Internet, its dangerous and disgusting and parents really need to make sure their kids have no access to it on their computer as much as they possibly can, the trouble is no matter how hard the policing system is about porn some evil monster will always be able to bypass any system to make sure kids can access it, guess we need stronger sentencing and stricter rules for anyone who makes it available on line and the sooner the better.

Children have always been interested in the forbidden things. In the past parents were more responsible and kept these things locked up out of the reach of children. If younger and younger children are watching these videos then they are getting them from somewhere. Unfortunately i think for young minds to be subjected to these kind of images it can send a message to them that can change their whole outlook on life and how they live. Perhaps this is why we have so many perverts and degenerates around nowadays.

I think its sad that the years children can be carefree and innocent, are getting less and less. Of course this is the accessibility of all media, allowing them to see and hear things that came as a great surprise to most of us.

I am very careful with my own children, only U Certificate films, bed before the watershed on TV, but there is only so much we can do, and our own homes are not a refection of what is going on in society. So I think that instilling good morals and values in our children, will allow them to deal a little better with the challenges in life

you can't underestimate the damaging effects of a heightened sexual awareness. especially at a young age, its so distracting even for adults anyway there's a massive developmental and psychological dependancy (& therefore handicap) that is built in too early for the kids to deal with & it affects them through everything they do. from how they communicate, their social etiquete, even sometimes their goals in life. i had an extremely early sexual awakening & even though the street cred was amazing through teens, preteens & even uni, once u get pas that & there's no audience & you've got to be honest with yourself, I can see where it did me good, but the places where it did me bad
out weigh them significantly... but hey kids these days have to take it in their stride; good luck 2 society! especially parents.

I don't know, I'm not particulary interested in that stuff and I'm 12. I think if people are gonna watch it they are going to find a way. I think all you should worry about is your family. If other people are watching it it's not your concern.
