Just draw a picture with a black background with earth at bottom-right side with satellite in the middle(you can draw a Hubble telescope, because it will be a perfect fit) and Sun at upper-left and some lanet on the upper right And maybe a one or two comets just moving across .

I have already answered your Q? about the model.
This will be easy, take the picture of the model and make a poster out of it, and just have it enlarged. Otherwise do a free hand poster of the picture. In bold letters say join me at the Opening of this Astrodrome.

Get a piece of black poster board, copy and print some pictures from astronomy sites on the Internet and paste these on the board in an interesting pattern. A small picture or diagram of our solar system in one corner and then pictures of galaxies placed around should have good visual impact.

You could also throw in a couple pictures of nebulae. They are very colorful and might brighten up the poster more than just stars.

Go to http://images.google.com and do a search on "planets" or "nebula".
Also, this goes beyond your poster, but if you are interested, there is a computer program that will take you to the different planets and nebulae. It is http://shatters.net/celestia - try it out first, if you like it, you can also download add-ons from the site such as nebulae etc.
