the breaks on my 1997 grandam se dont work right un les the abs light is on so can i unplug it

Yes you can, the only problem with that is, you won't have ABS and in the event of a panic stop on a questionable surface or unfavorable road conditions, you will have to pump the brakes the old fashioned way. Good luck and happy motoring.

you can unplug the light from the instrument cluster but i would not unplug the abs system from under neath your hood. unplugging the abs system is dangerous. your car is going to stop as good as a loaded 18 wheeler without the abs computer plugged in. so don't touch that. the easy way put is put a little piece of black tape over the light in the dash and call i quits.
