No, not at all. I take one day at a time, along with its celebrations or its aggravations, tackling each event one at a time. Rainy days are good for thought and meditation or to curl up with a good book. Mondays are just the beginning of a week that we hope will end well.

Funny but it seems I always wind up here with you
Nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me.

...thats the good part of the song!!!

Only when I am working as a carpenter around the house. We have only just begun to put togehter the new deck. Before the rising sun we will smile, so many new adventures ahead, we will do something and puke. I remember these lyrics more than I want to. I used to date a girl in college who came from the same town as the carpenters(Downing, California?) She was glad to have left. I like rainy days more than Mondays. I love the soft feel of Oregon rain when there is only a slight breeze, especially if I am hiking in the forest or walking on the beach. Rain tends to have a quieting effect. The environment seems to have a hush expectant organic quality. I even relish the downpours. I know that without the rain there will not be the lush green landscape that Western Oregon is known and loved for. Mondays I can do without. Can't we just fast forward to Thursday?

Only when I'm down and feeling blue, when nothing ever seems to fit, you know, hanging around and feeling like I don't belong, then rainy days and Mondays always get me down.

No...

I love rainy days.
I love everything about the rain.
I love the smell, the feeling, the taste, driving in the rain, kissing in the rain, dancing in the rain.
I also love cuddling under the covers with a good book or a good movie while it's raining and my window is open.

Mondays are usually good to me as well...

Except when i haven't studied and i have class and i know i'm screwed.
Or when i have to wake up for a job i hate.

Never, I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain. LOL if I let rainy days get me down, I would never smile.. I live in the UK and believe me when I say there is a thunder storm out there at this moment.. x

It's much too early in the morning for The Carpenters.

To quote The Boomtown Rats...

And the lesson today is how to die
And then the bullhorn crackles
And the captain crackles
With the problems and the how's and why's
And he can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to die

The silicon chip ...

Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down

Actually, no. You would think that the dreary weather would make you gloomy, but not me. I find that rainy days relax me. On days like those are when I say "AHHHH" and sit back and relax completely. I love the sound of rain and even thunder. It's soothing.
