basically we were talking last night and i was only joking with her ..then from no where she told me to shut the F up about that!dont piss me off now!..so my reply to her was ok im gonna shut up and goodnight!..so we havent spoken untill now she left me a message which says: So... Youre still grumpy huh? Oh well. let me know when you are down to earth again then! Have a nice day! X
so my question is what will you do if you were in my place?
(p.s) all what i wanted was an apology from her which she doesn't see herself doing anything wrong!is it that hard for someone to see that or realize what they have said is an insult??
i haven't asked for an apology cos i thought she might know better...anyways i'm going out later on and hope to see some few interesting answers from you all and thank you!

you have a point there Angel..but still dont you think Respect is an important factor in a relationship?..or as you say if i leave things as it is and carry on as if nothing ever happened..she might carry on saying things like this to me!...cos for me in a relationship one of the most important thing is RESPECT.cos i would never say such a thing to her! + i am not a carpet for anyone to walk over me!but anyways i'm not going to bring this up to her and not talk to her for a couple of days!..cos whenever i think about it i just get annoyed!..so maybe she might realise what she said to me wasn't good and apologise!

Hi sometimes when a guy is joking we dont find it funny and maybe we even find it insulting, depending on what the joke was. Its obvious you were winding her up. I would of done the same as sometimes we just cant be bothered with jokes and stuff. Maybe you hurt her feelings someway or she took something the wrong way and saw her backside which is why she things she hasnt done anything wrong. Guys often dont know what they have done wrong, and you got in a mood with her because of what she said. The best thing to do is forget about it because obviously she thinks she doesnt have to apologise and you think you dont have to apologise, So theres no winning the arguement, So just talk to her and carry on. Life is to short for silly arguements.

haha now! don't start playing the victim for this! and im not saying i disagree with you, i mean it must be that this girl has no sence of humor, but then you should have known that anyway.
But then whats wrong with a harmless joke? nothing at all and the way she reacted i do believe was a lil but OTT but ya know, don't let it get you annoyed or the situation will just get all over the place and not nice!!
Maybe you should just say sorry? i mean you don't have to mean it do you? and if she doesnt apologise back well... she needs a lil nudge, say that you felt insulted by her reaction etc.. and then maybe she might feel guilty, use the guilt trip! =)
okay so im sounding nasty but ya know, in the end this is only a lil argument and theres no harm in a lil play around....

Oh and before i end this, it also depends on the joke you made, if it was to any offence to her, which it seems like it was then you must apologise, but she must apologise as well!!
BOTH of you have done wrong in the situation, and funnily enough you both think your the victim, well as they say, theres 2 sides to every story...

How uncouth! You're lucky you got a little insight into what a mean and rude person she really is. Manners and being a lady(or a gentleman) are very important qualities in a woman (or man), and to make a long term relationship work. Imagine if she'd talked that way to you in front of people you care about? I would not call her until she volunteers an apology. And I agree with you: don't ask for one. I don't allow anyone to talk so disrespectfully to me and get away with it. Date new girls if you can't be treated the way you want to be treated.

sounds like what you need to do is talk. seems as if she might not have understood that you were joking, and that you didn't understand when to stop.
rather than trying to figure out who should apologise, make sure you understand what the problem is.

If you dont like her talking to you like that then simply dont talk to her anymore. She has gotten comfortable with herself to the point that now she feels it is OK to disrespect you that way and most likely she won't change her ways. My suggestion to you is that if you don't like the way she is now just don't speak to her anymore and move on with your life. I'm sure that you can find someone else that will respect you enough to talk to you in a good manner.

what did u say to her in the first place? Im touchy at times with my man,but its complex! if u still wanna talk to her, text her & say u were joking or she took what u said the wrong way & u were hurt by what she said thats why u aint spoken, this leaves her clear about how u feel & gives her a prompt to say sorry, maybe she aint though, ahhhh love aint it funny.

Difficult one this. Because if you tell her your language offended you, she'll do it again when you next have an argument, just to wind you up.
I'd buy her a big bar of soap and tell her to wash her mouth out because you're not going to put up with being sworn at, now or ever again because you hate dirty mouthed girls. And stick to it.

Well if someone spoke to me like that I would never see them again. Sorry I wouldnt accept that nor some of the answers given here. If she speaks to you like that before you are married...sorry....but you are going to be dirty under her feet. Find a nicer girl...someone who is not foul mouthed.

First off, what were you hounding her about? I'm sure she has told you nicely before, to stop what ever you are nosing around about. NO , you should apologize to her for acting so adolescent and keep your dirty feet out of her head.

Ahh...the old "I am stronger than her" bit.

Your decision mate. You could bin her and walk away or text her back and begin dialogue. This is entirely up to you and whether or not you want to keep the relationship going, show her who's boss or walk away.
Let me know how it turns out?
