If I wanted to play the same music on both my computers at the same time how would I go about doing that?

The easiest way would to have the song on both computers and hit play at the same time.

Even if you had some sort of software installed that would network the computers, and play the same song on both comptuers, you may have an ever so slight lag due to the networking.

I think you are asking if you can play the same music file on 2 computers at the same time? You could do it using netmeeting.You may have latency issues though.

you put a music cd in the 2 computers and you use a music player play the cds

Simple way of doing so is, share the music folder between two machines and play it in music player at same time.

Don't think we are there yet TP. In fact, it ain't all that logical a thing to do because one of the computers is redundant.
