that is because the religious zealots speaks for god in an ill manner way. i do believe god loves all his creations.

Another possible reason is because they try to put us down and make us feel shame and wish for a change. ha! they ain't getting it. God loves us all.

Well, in short, many people are simply ignorant and uninformed.

There are many things in the Bible that people choose to ignore. For example, I think there is some passage about it being a sin to eat shellfish, but people obviously don't think that's a sin. So they pick and choose what they want to believe, and exploit it.

The truth is, deep down, some people simply can't fathom the idea of two men or two women being together. It is so much easier for them to blame the Bible because they feel that somehow justifies their own disliking of gays.

God made gay people, there is no way around that. Of course, critics would try to counter-argue "Well didn't he make murderers too?" No, all people are born pure. They choose to make bad choices, like being murderers. Being gay is not a choice, and it's also not a crime.

I believe we are loved by God, and if we choose to love others, than we are actually more "God-like" than some of those hypocrites.

I'm glad that you still believe in God, because many gay people lose their faith due to all the ridicule. Good for you, for not letting other pollute your beliefs in things that are good.

God does not hate gays. Its the ignorant homophobics that do. God loves all his children. How the hell do those people really know what God does and doesnt like? All because some book was written a long, long time ago, about what THEY thought God might believe.

I found this on an aswer a while back and I believe it:
John 3:16 Says "For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten son into the world, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in Him shall have everlasting life."

It doesn't say "....that WHOSOEVER except gays and lesbians and narrow minded people and those who judge each other....BELIEVETH in Him....."

I think thats pretty hypocritical of anyone who would make that statement and they do,only because if you really read the bible its says to love everyone and that there is a place for all.So those people are ignorant.Personally I could care less what others do behing closed doors.God loves everyone. Those people use it to stand behind because they have a problem with gay people. They should mind their own business!!

I don't hate you!. How can i hate any of you, you are all special to me, each and everyone of you. Besides, you can't hold me responsible if someone twisted and warped the words I gave unto them. I would intervene directly if I could but that would upset the balance and so I can't. But let me state quite clearier that GOD LOVES GAYS. Anyone who says anything different is an agent of my wayward son and should be pitied for their mistaken beliefs. God loves you most of all for this question and has added 1 year to your alloated life span!

Some people have their own sick, twisted version of Christianity. For example, my grandmother takes passages from the Bible and twists them into advocating the hatred and obliteration of...Gays, Jews, Muslims, Blacks, Hispanics, etc. etc. I think these types of people think that a passage taken out of context can help to justify their own hate, bigotry and racism. Ignore them, because they can't know what God really feels or thinks, and if they do, well that's called blasphemy.

People believe God hates us because of certain biblical passages. For example in Genensis with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, God, in the eyes of some, destroyed them because of the homosexuality that was present. Because the Angels could not find 10 men who were not wicked, God supposedly destroyed it. Of course you have to ask yourself why God would allow a man who would offer up his own daughters to the men outside his house to survive. Supposed the only people the escape were Lot and his daughters, the very same daughters who later had sex with their own father in order to have children. Most people seem to have turned a blind eye to this fact and the fact that Lot was willing to offer his virgin daughters to the mob to "do to them whatever you like" Homosexuality is called an abomination in Deuteronomy. But in the same book it says "If a betrothed virgin is raped in the city and doesn't cry out loud enough, then "the men of the city shall stone her to death." God's love for you is greater than any man's word. The bible is the word of God, but man has interpreted it over the ages for his own purpose.

i don't have faith God hates gay human beings. in actuality, i think of if there is one guy or woman firmly on our section it is God himself! the concern with the church and the bible is that some passages are taken literely and others are interpretated as having a distinctive meaning. For years the passage in the bible "guy shall not spill his seed on barren floor" became interpretated to point that masterbation became incorrect. at present in spite of the undeniable fact that, it is been agreed that it has absolutly not something to do with intercourse in besides! As for stable old Leviticus "guy shall not lay with guy for it quite is an abomination" it is purely once you look deeper to what became witnessed via the pupil on the time are you able to purely comprehend what it quite skill :) Plus the two Jesus and St.Peter/St.Paul (it became one or the different) reported that those rules did not practice to christains and purely pagans! additionally what maximum human beings of religous people who're against homosexuality do not understand is that the be conscious "gay" wasn't used via the church till the 1860's in basic terms because of the fact they did not additionally understand it easily existed! So in the event that they did not understand ways on earth would desire to the bibical scholars have everyday of it is existance???!! :) besides, i desire this facilitates and that i choose you the very ultimate of luck :)

Well I'm sure he is not pleased with alot of things that happen on in this world he created. But he loves all of us the same-Alot of the so called Christians are alot worse than us for judging people, that is a SIN,but they keep on with their comments like it's scoring points for them in heaven or something. I had rather be gay and be a honest to goodness person than be straight and be 2 faced with the world-wouldn't wanta' help people and look down on people who don't think like they do.Just my opinion!
