moisturize, moisturize and moisturize. that is the rule for all kinds of tans, be it outdoor tan or indoor tan. and exfoliate as well to keep the skin looking fresh and healthy. these are 2 ways to keep your tan looking good.

it's a good idea to shave your legs before tanning so as to get a more even tan.

I don't do beds, but these are the suggestions which apply to beds as well.

Well tanning is fun and does look good but it really is bad for you no question about it. Not that I have never done it of course. I used to go tanning alot now I would only do it occasionally/ I am lucky people usually guess my age as 8 to 10 yrs younger than I am and I love that, I don't want that to stop. heh. Anyway if you insist. They should be able to help you with a pre-tan lotion at the salon. I don't recommend any tingles or ice. Then after yes the key is MOISTURIZE!

Shave before you tan, also do any exfoliating before you tan, you scrub off a lot of tanned skin if you do it after tanning. Put lotion on before getting into the tanning bed. There are some lotions (Like Ocean Potion After Tanning Lotion) that help you keep your tan longer. Don't take a shower for a least 30 minutes after tanning... My tanning bed lady said that the lotion and the tanning process can continue for up to 30 minutes after getting out of the bed.

uh, yeah you can keep your tan looking great. use a spray on tanner or a cream.

you MUST be aware that tanning is terrible for you. one hour in a tanning bed is the equivalent of 10 hours under the sun. when you hit 40, your skin will look like leather and be all splotchy. and don't say you won't care how you look at 40. you obviously care about how you look now, why would that change?

and you are dramatically increasing your chance of getting skin cancer. if you don't die from it, you may have to get the cancer part cut off. would you like to lose an ear or part of your nose? i don't think so. stop tanning. be smart. why is the i've-just-had-my-skin-baked-in-the-oven look so appealing any ways?

Hi. I used to tan a lot so I want to be of help. Use moisturizer after you tan. I would not go in right after shaving because the skin is made more sensitive and might burn quicker that way. And finally I would encourage you to think about it again. I stopped because I realized tanning causes wrinkles, not to mention melanoma. Please be safe. You are lovely just as you are.

Why are u ruining your skin? haven't you heard of the dangers in those tanning beds there worse than the sun, A better alternative would be sunless tanning lotion. think about how your going to look when your older and yes it will matter.
