Job posting requested 2 letters of reference which I did not have by the date the resume was due.?
I went ahead and sent in my resume anyways to meet the due date. I followed up with another cover letter and the letter of reference 2 days later explaining why I sent it in late (previous supervisors are all at different positions out of state).
Today I noticed that the HR director extended the deadline for submissions to October 6th. Should I send in my resume again along with the letters to make it a complete package?

Most definitely, and make sure that it is updated to the present. If for no other reason than it indicates that you are still interested and available. Best of luck.

Wouldn't hurt, although you're probably already covered. Did you include something in your original submission saying references to follow?
