Yes, but at least he tried. How many times did he use the word "try" in that interview? I almost fell asleep.

In regard to Osama, he admitted he failed. Didn't hear him admit he failed in any other area. Wonder if Bush will have the balls to say he failed when it comes to Iraq and other areas of his administration. Of course not! Clinton is 100 times the man Bush is or ever dreamed of being.

I don't know about great...but why in his wisdom is he OK with "I tried but failed..." and in the same thought he's not OK with the new administration "tried but failed".
The Clinton Administration or the Bush Administration are both trying but failing the battle but in the end I believe their efforts will win the ultimate war.
Fighting terror does not have a shake n' bake solution. It's going to take years and several more administrations to get it done.
We're all Americans. We are embarassing ourselves by being critical and too opinionated of our fellows.

Being a Dem or Rep shouldn't be the end all to how your brain works, he was a good president and got a bad rap due to his personal life, not based on presidential work. He was a better president that Bush ever thought of being and is man enough to admit wrong doings. We all make mistakes that we don't go public with. If he had been a regular man instead of pres who would have cared about his private life except his wife. Grow up and think with your brains instead of whether you are a Republican or democrat.

I thought he put the Republican reporter in his place. It was a beautiful sight to see someone other than myself put the Republicans down. They are no better than anyone else. Toby Keith, Reba, and Wallace belong in the same boat. To call them patriotic is rather frightening. Way to go Clinton! Now if the rest of the Democrats would follow their instincts, we would really see which political party had guts!

I think he is still the best president that the states ever had. To admit as a man and president take a lot of guts. The economy was good. I still believe he was trapped or there is a conspiracy behind what happened between him and Monica.

It's the old confess and repent ploy, you know like "I feel your pain" or "I did not have sex with that woman".
Well I know one thing for certain what clitoon did with his young employee in the oval office, well my wife has declared it as sex regardless of what I think.

Ah, you republican sheep finally have something to stick pins in. It's pretty pathetic that you have to twist what he said and make him sound bad. What he said was, at least he TRIED. Bush didn't do sh!t until his ash was in a wringer, and what he did was, well, we all know about the current disaster.

He was caught off-guard. He's not used to simple questions. He reacted in true Clinton fashion.
