Barbara P. gave you great advice, but if you want to be a model, go for it.
But just out of curiosity, why would you want to be a model? Having to wear all that yucky makeup, getting painful bikini waxes, having all those people touching you and invading your personal space?
Not to mention all the criticism and rejection, which all models have to put up with--ever seen America's Next Top Model or So-and-So's Modeling Agency? Those people are beautiful and they still get kicked out. Ouch.

I think you should but there are lots of people that want to be a model hopefully the industry has room for everyone.

Go for your dreams! Make sure that you have more than one dream though...don't hinge all of your happiness on one thing because if one dream falls through (and many, many qualified and deserving people don't always get what they want) then you have another dream that you can work on that will help you to be happy.

Sure, if you want to dedicate your life to flaunting your external beauty for money, and being shallow and selfish. The problems in this world do not require some pretty face to solve them. Everyone's true beauty is on the inside, and everyone can contribute something to the world.
Models do not contribute to society. They stigmatize the world into thinking if you aren't beautiful, you aren't worth squat.
