Since I havent had a period in 9 months is it possible that when i do ovulate two eggs will come down instead of one?? and get pg with twins? {haha wishful thinking you know}! It's been such a long time and my bodies kinda confused so i was just wondering if anyone else has every went without a period for a long time then got pregnant with twins...

Ive already been to the doctor he put me on provera and that didnt start my period and so now he put me back on birthcontrol to try to regulate it...he said its cause ihad the depo one time in october and that its not out of my system yet...i dont care what i get pregnant with we just want a baby...

Scientifically, the making of twins is explained as breaking-up of the fertilized egg-not coming down of two eggs. This way, 4 eggs would come down for quads!! Thats quite a number!!

I have no idea. This seems like a tricky situation and I dont really think that is the way it works. Have you spoken to a fertility specialist who may be able to advise you appropriately or even just your doctor. I dont think your body will be confused, it will know what to do when the time is right. But if you get one baby or 2 babies or even quads out of the pregnancy, does it matter? A baby is gorgeous no matter how many. I wouldnt be worried about twins at this stage if I was you, I would be worried about why I hadnt had a period for 9 months!!!!
