There really is no such thing as love at first sight, only lust. To truly love someone, you need to know the person. I guess this is why there are so many break-ups and divorces among those who claim to have a "love at first sight" relationship. These people made a commitment to each other without truly knowing the other person. Once they found out the other person's habits, goals, thoughts, quirks, etc. , the "love" quickly faded.

As fact is fact, there is only lust at first sight. Love's equation requires time, and i'm sorry but first sight means hardly any time, in fact its not even hearing what the other person's voice sounds like. You can't love someone's voice that gives you warmth and security, you can't love someone's soul, personality, and passion. You can only infatuate yourself at the thought of getting to know someone who makes your eye's desire churn the thoughts in your brain that then control your physical functions yielding pounding heartbeat, dilated pupils, swelling of the and lubricating of the genitals just to name a few. This is often mislabeled as love. Maybe its because its such a huge feeling, and people think well love is huge, this must be it.

I dont believe in love at first sight. For me it's either lust at first sight or even infactuation but never love. Love has to much meaning and feelings to be discovered in a glance.

Most definitely. I fell in love with my husband the first time I saw him. We are separated now but we still love each other dearly and we will always be soul mates. The break up of our marriage was my fault but we are both very happy in new relationships now. It took me 3 years to actually fall in love with my new partner although we were always good friends. I love him dearly so I know there are lots of different ways of loving people.

Sometimes I think people confuse love with lust at first site...I have experienced an immediate attraction at first sight but after spending time talking to him it was just all about physical...Don't get me wrong Its possible for it to be love...but its rare...Of course thats just my opinion...
