We learn things everyday.. we never stop learning new things and changing. Some of the most important things that i've learnt are:
- Once in a while you have to step back and examine your life... we often live with a false sense of reality. Just because we like the way that something is that doesn't mean it is good for us. We need to honestly examine our lives once in a while and accept the things that we've been refusing to accept.. make the changes that we need to make("The unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates)
- NEVER get caught up trying to make money or with work. Love is the most important thing in life... nobody ever sits on their death bed saying: "I wish i spent more time in the office" or "I wish i made more money" They do say however "I wish i spent more time with my friends and family" or "I wish i showed the people i care about how much i really love them".
-Always be as selfless as you can and place others needs in front of yours. You will feel good about yourself and when it comes time for your life to end, you will be thinking of the difference that you made in peoples lives and that you are a great person.
-Do not let people control you... if anything, you must control others. Letting others control you will make you feel worthless.. nobody has the right to step on you.
-Do not let your fears run your life. Our life is short enough the way that it is... we must live our lives to the fullest so that one day we will look back and think "Wow, i really had a great life" or "I really accomplished everything i wanted to"
-One thing that i think is very important is to make a life list. Make a list of everything that you want to do, or accomplish, or try... regardless of how stupid they sound. Just write down on a list what you want to do that way you'll never get caught up in things that don't really matter and you'll be able to look back and say "I wouldn't change one thing about my life"
Hope you liked my suggestions
Btw, thanks for this question... really made me think about what's important and what i want to do ♥

Not every opinion is the right one. Including your own.
What other people think of you won't mean a thing tomorrow.
You should always push yourself farther than what you think you can do. That way you'll end up surprising yourself.
Some friendships come and go like the latest fashions. However, a good friend that you can open your soul to is like your "little black dress" you can't do without it.

Wow, your friend should be so lucky to have you indeed^_^
◘ What are the lessons that you have learned in life?
How short life really is... having lost someone dear to me not too long ago...
◘ What difficulties have you encountered and how did you get through it?
Frankly, I'm still trying to figure it out, don't think I ever will. To probably not over-analyze every single thing, maybe. To just accept things as they are & maybe not be so cynical or pessimistic.

The edge of an object when turned this way and that way and when finally placed in an oblique fashion, what you need is just a line to get the fulfilment, that's as simple as THAT, but for the fear of the Truth most go for the lesser perfect descriptiveness.. after all that's better than nothing, but life taught jk that in nothingness probably lies the Greatest Thing ...

It's a small world. We don't know each other but we are communicating with unknown people, It has something to do with our fate because of which we are getting an opportunity to get in touch with each other. We are here in this world for very short time period. We don't know how we had come here and when we would pass away. These types of thought occur in my mind very often and then I regret my follies which I have made. Say for example, I have hurt someone with my deeds or words. I am sorry for that and I wish I could apologise everybody, whom I have hurt knowingly or unknowingly.

The hardest lesson for most is that decisions that you make have consequences. They may not manifest themselves for several years but when they do you cry out why is this happening to me.
I have faced several of those life changing moments when I thought I'm not going to make it through this.
And yet here I am at the age of 56 answering questions on Y/A.
Obviously I made it through those hard and difficult times.
You will also, we all do.

facing obstacles is one thing that we always comes across and it increases as life goes on. so u could like give her a copy of the 'if' poem written by rudyard kipling. (its really nice) it is about life- how to do better.
consider this
and u can always tell her that wenever she has a problem she should talk abt it wid someone to feel better. and yeah include in ur map...that to every problem theres a solution. u just hav to look for ever

" in case you may't do the time, do not do the crime." The deeper meaning of this has taught me to look at each and every of the thoughts I make and not purely see what's the instantaneous gratification yet additionally the long term impacts or repercussions or advantages are. nicely, a minimum of to the final you may see the destiny.

taking risks!!!
yes! everything else she can learn from the books or read in magazines, if she takes risks she will probably end up being miserable too, but at least she will be content she was brave enought to try and do it :D
and in those cases when the risks really pay off theres nothing in this world that can come even close to the feeling.........
:) good luck!

there was one time my friend told me this, "don't look back and eat your own ****." this applies to every aspect of life, be it relationships, tasks that we do or thoughts that we have. whatever that has been done, is over. in life, we should always look ahead. even if it's not much hope, least we can always try to look for the best alternative solution. never look back, or you'll have alot more regrets in life than you bargain for.
