I was once told by an old man from the Middle East that America is run by the most devilish people who are the direct descendants of those villains who exterminated the Red Indians in order to grab their lands. And this genetically inherent quality to rob led America to support unpopular and undemocratic puppet regimes in Arab countries in order to control and manipulate Arab oils.

he he he you are talking like Dick Armitage. You ought to join Rumsfeld and his team but then again you may not be rich enough to qualify.

Your reply is well put. Its just that its time that we have to be more honest to ourselves; and not to brag as if the rest of the world are blind and deaf.

What did you expect from a man from the Middle East - an unbiased answer? Of course, my response will be biased as well but perhaps a little more honest.
I am an American. My paternal ancestors arrived in the 17th century and maternal mostly in the 18th century. As far as i know, none of them were involved in the Indian wars but that is how America got bigger. We fought wars and won. At any rate, one should not really hold today's descendents responsible for the actions of their forefathers. And it has also been said that it is wrong to judge people of the past by today's standards.
As for America supporting puppet regimes in the Middle East, and elsewhere, that is mostly true and it should never have happened. Unfortunately, for the last century or so, America has seen itself as an empire and has been led by politicians who felt that it was America's responsibilty to 'improve the world.' This has led to very unfortunate and unpopular treatys and alliances.
Having said that though, America -at least for the first 140 or so years- was the land of opportunity and can be credited with giving the most diverse people groups in history the best chance at a better life. It has lifted more people out of poverty, cured more diseases and improved the overall quality of life for 100s of millions of people.

Whoa! Now wait just a minute! Are you implying that our forefathers were anything but fair and just to Native Americans? Right! And I suppose we enslaved black people too! And foreign policy that interferes in the sovereignty of other nations? Who have you been talking to? You must be one of those treasonous traitor libs who ought to be put in concentration camps. And we don't need no freakin Arab oil! We can take all the oil we want from our friends in Venezuela. So shut up with your propaganda lies about our being aggressors, or we'll bomb you back into the stone age. Okay?

I was once told by an old American man.
Something is wrong with the middle east...they fight over sand and pieces of land no larger than most cities and they say they are fighting "Holly wars"they try and hide the insanity of their wars by pointing fingers at others.

LOL .....how funny. No that is not true. control and manipulate Arab oil? Are we now getting all the oil for free? That answer would be no. We are paying for it, and paying dearly.
