well first of all... if you mother won't take you to the doctor .... and you don't have antibiotics .... you should do these things:

1. after your pee.. try cleaning yourself ALWAYS from the front to the back..... inorder to avoid extra contamination of the urethra

2. drink a lot of water... so you can go topee a lot... this will bother you at first beause of the disuria.... but it will prevent from the bacteria to continue growing inside your bladder...

hope this will help you....

sorry for the spelling...and grammatical order... actuall I'm a mexican doctor (practitioner) and I didn't write in english from a long time ago...

get well

ok go to the store and get azo, or cystex..these are analgesics, they numb the urinary tract it will make your pee orange, don't be alarmed!! and drink it with a full bottle of water, then drink a few cups of cranberry juice. the acid in it prevents the bacteria from living in the urinary tract. then take some tylenol for the backache, it's ok to take the 2 meds together and take warm bath. it will take about 2 days of this to get rid of the uti. but if you keep doing it it will go away. uti's suck! hope you feel better. and hey if your old enough you can get to the doctor yourself. you don't need a parent if your over like 14 or 15. if you don't have $$ for the copay they can bill you. when your sick you gotta see the doc. take care.

Go to the store and get AZO - or a generic. It will control the symptoms for a couple of days. Have you gotten as far as the bleeding? Or it is all burn/cramp? If you are bleeding (red in urine) and your mom won't take you to the doctor, tell your counselor at school about the whole thing.

While the AZO will take away the symptoms, you need a prescription antibiotic to take away the bacteria causing the infection. Cranberry will help, but won't necessarily cure.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice. My gf takes cranberry pills and they help her alot. Also drink lemonade to prevent the infection from forming stones in your bladder and kidneys. My gf used to get stones too due to her infections. The cranberry pills will help to prevent that as well.

Your mom should be thrown in jail for neglecting you. What's wrong with her?!? Bladder infections can harm your kidneys and cause them to fail if left untreated because you can get a build up in there known as kidney reflux. My gf has had that in the past and the only way to get rid of it was through surgery.

If your mom won't take you to the doctor, then have someone else take you. You may need an antibiotic like Macrobid, Macrodantin, Cipro or Septra. Also, stay away from sodas and avoid sitting too long. Take care of yourself.

What is wrong with your mother??I have had a lot of bladder infections in my life and you need to see a doctor!!You need to take pills to get rid of it.When I was a teenager I had a bladder infection so bad i couldnt hold my urine it burned my whole vagina and blood would come out at the very end of urinating. This will get worse if left untreated.and it can be very painful. Can you go to an aunt or a dad or a friends mom??someone needs to help you.At the store they sell little pills i think azo or something thats supposed to help the pain i have used them til I could get to a doctor but they dont help that much. Please get help before this gets so bad you cant stand it and shame on your mom.

Why wont she take you to the doc? Do you need to your mum to take you? My advice is go without her. Dont forget the doc wont be able to tell her you have been due to the confidentiality law.

If it definately a urinary tract infection, you will need antibiotics. My only other piece of advice is drink cranberry juice and also plenty of fluids, especially water to keep flushed.

>drink extra fluids to flush bacteria out of the bladder. Do not drink caffeinated or carbonated beverages, which can irritate the bladder.
>urinate often and to empty the bladder each time.
>take warm baths (without bubble bath or shampoo in the water).
you still need to have urinalysis and to be checked by a doctor.

Go to the doctor. A doctor or an emergency room has to take you if you can afford it or not.
