If you live somewhere that marijuana is legal, you have an easy solution. If you live somewhere stupid enough to have it illegal (or crazy enough to play with half-way, like California), it's a little more complicated. But nausea in chemotherapy patients was what started the whole "medical marijuana" movement in the first place.

Treating nausea and bad appetite are just about the magic grass's best tricks. But I think you know there are a lot of other things this most misunderstood and under-rated medication is good for.

Yes, like everyone says here crackers, toasts etc will keep you feeling less nauseous.

The acidity which is produced by changing hormones is what makes you nauseous so remember that you need to snack on these frequently (maybe a handful every hour!) to keep the acid levels down. They sort of absorb the acid. Also drink plenty of water, Avoid juice or sour foods which will make you acid levels up.

I would eat 2 or 3 crackers before getting out of bed, then have ginger tea before breakfast. Try to eat every 2 hours, just a little bit, that seems to help.

The only thing that works for me (I'm 14 weeks and was in the hosipital for dehydration to to nausea and vomiting) is to suck on those gummy fruit snacks or fruit roll-ups...I carry them everywhere, but as soon as they're gone, I feel sick again, so I jsut chew on them all day...! I've tried the sea-bands, I'm on extra B6 and ginger root, which you could pick up at Walgreens and safely take to try...the one thing that seems to help quite a bit is dramamine...never had motion sickness, still really don't, but something in dramamine settles my whole system...I take one tablet with breakfast, one with lunch and one with dinner...my doctor said I could take 2 tablets every 4 hours, but what I'm doing really helps...it'd be worth asking them if you could try it.

I had really bad morning, afternoon, and evening sickness. I kept saltine crackers handy everywhere I went and it helped a lot. I avoided coffee, sodas, teas, peanut butter, fried foods, and oj--sticking to milk only. Even water made me sick. And eventually it passed in the 4th month. I'm told morning sickness is a GOOD sign of healthy hormones building a healthy child in your womb, so be of good cheer, and think of it as being a good MOM before you get to see your new baby. Congratulations!!

Ginger took the edge off for me, nothing made it go away though (ginger ale, ginger altoids). If I puked fist thing in the morning, then I didn't feel so bad during the day. Mine still hasn't completely gone away and I am well into my 2nd trimester.

Hi. Anything bland like crackers. Chicken broth saved me too. Stay away from greasy foods (easier said than done!). Toast with peanut butter is yummy too. Good luck!
