Victoria's Secret doesn't have a plus sized model because they aren't aware of the latent public of plus sized women. They are under the presumption that plus sized ladies would never actually *want* to wear their clothing for fear of being embaressed. What they don't realize is the average size of the American woman is now a size 14. Fourteen ladies. I applaud companies like Avon (I'm an Avon lady), Walmart, Lane Bryant, Catherines, and Fashion Bug for answering the call of plus-sized women that want a little more luxury in their life rather than the basic Fruit of the Loom brief.

RIGHT ON! I give an enthusiastic thumbs up to Avon for some lovely plus-size lingerie AND their beautiful models. These other folks seem to be making assumption that plus-size = fat, or that heavy = ugly!!! Puhleeez!
Where is a 6'1 gal supposed to get pretty things? Besides the fact that the nation's average weight, normal weight, ACCEPTABLE weight, healthy weight, is no where near the images the models throw (throw-up) at us.
(not intended as offense to models - they're just human and trying to respond to impossible demands made by fashion designers)

Her guy is amazingly fortunate! i like victorias secret panties i'm male and that i positioned on all of them the time . i like the satin, microfibers and the cotton. maximum of victorias panties already in good structure a guy ideal. they sense a lot extra perfect than any mens underclothes. i visit continually purchase vs Panties and positioned on all of them the time . i imagine that is an exceedingly good idea ! i'd like to work out it ensue! this may help various different women except and prefer adult males in panties. I truly have a spouse who's amazingly nervous if human beings knew I wore panties.. no one ever knows even with the actuality that. How might want to they ? If vs suggested it develop into okay to the regular public i'm particular she might want to have a sparkling view on it i'd purchase the matched instruments i imagine that's outstanding even as my spouse has on a similar pair . Its an exceedingly good activate even as i understand we've a similar ones on.

Because that's not their image. Look at a store's models to see if they willingly cater to plus sized women. VS obviously doesn't target plus sizes!
As an adult woman, I would love to shop there, but VS carries only a few foundation items that fit my more mature figure (and no, I'm not plus sized, just not model-slim anymore). Doesn't mean my demographic is less sensual or desiring of beautiful lingerie... just means we have to get it elsewhere.
Too bad, VS... you lose out on my business.

It's just fashion designers. I'm thin but with curves. I can't wear any of those skinny girl clothes. I may wear a 12, but my curves are in the wrong places.
P.S. I really love those new Dove commercials. I wish that would translate to the fashion world. REAL WOMEN!

It's part of their image and marketing strategy.
For sexy intimate apparel for plus sized women I would suggest Lane Bryant. Plus sized women can look and feel just as sexy as their thinner counterparts.
