Disagree. Man is a social animal and the person who does not live in the Society is either a god or a beast. Since we are living in the Society, all man made social laws are applicable irrespective of the fact we follow god or not.

who is really a true follower of God? no one, we all marched to a different drummer. If you are a true follower do you follow all the commandments according to the old testament? or the ones the early Christian church decided were law? We have to follow the laws of the land otherwise there would be disorder all over. There is no law sent down in the OT that tells you not to obey your government laws.

Good question. I do disagree, but many people (and not just Christians) seem to have this illusion about the way faith interacts with the real world. Sure faith can set the frame for making stuff happen, but in itself it doesn't make anybody better than anybody else.
Many of our laws are based off of the common principles of many religions (Christianity too) that include peace with your neighbor. So by defying the human laws, in many cases a person is defying "God's Laws."

Disagree.
No one is above the law, or there is no law. If there is no law, there is no justice. If there is no justice, there is no mercy. If there is no mercy, there is no love. If there is no love, there is no god. If there is no god, there is no true follower of god.
However, if there is love, there does not necessarily have to be a god.
Essentially the law is more important than god, and certainly more important than the true follower of god.

Not as a Christain, since in the bible we are to obey the lawful commands of the government over you. We beleive for good or bad that God has ordained each ruler of every nation.

And of course for those of Islam in a nation ruled by Islam, church rules are government rules

You cannot be a true follower of god if you bind yourself to follow all the laws of man. all religions believe that their laws are uncompramisable.

saying that im agnostic so i dont have a problem.

Yes, but God wants us to abide by the laws of man. Does that answer your question?

In obeying God, you must obey the laws of the land.

i believe God said to obey the laws of the land, to the extent that you dont break any of His laws. like you shouldnt go to war and kill because that is the law of the land not His law.
