The reserved section?

... typically, there is no "section" for reserved books. Books that have been reserved are usually held behind the circulation desk for the patrons who reserved them.

I imagine you meant, "What books can you find inside the research (or reference) section in a library?"

Books in the reference section include such materials as encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, almanacs, and other materials that will be useful for research.

Well, libraries often place there new requisitions or new versions of textbooks. Or if they only have one copy of the book, they have to put it on reserve.
