And many people gave the acronym Roy G Biv as a way to remember. My question is: Does anyone know any OTHER acronyms or memory tricks for remembering the colors of the rainbow? I aks because as a child I was taught a different memory trick and now I can remember the colors but not the memory trick to remember them by! I do remember this though: It was an entire sentence and each word started with a corresponding letter....
Any help?

It is the simple word "VIBGYOR"....
Thats the way at least the student community of this part of the world remembers it..and I think it is simple...dont you agree ?
Why go for other complicated acronymns which are more complicating and confusing ?
