I used to enjoy English and Art homework, and occasionally history because I found them interesting. I used to love it when the English homework was to write a story.
On the other hand I remember hating stuff like science and maths because I found it really hard work and not particularly interesting- I remember one set of homework about "circumnavigating a triangle" (essentially doing a load of equations to work out at what distance to set your compass in order to be able to draw a circle connecting three corners of an equilateral triangle) I can't imagine what situation in my adult life this was supposed to relate to, but it hasn't come up yet.

I used to enjoy getting good marks for homework, which gave me more esteem. There were some subjects I found very interesting, so doing the homework for it was interesting too. Of course there were lots of homework that were a lot of pain to do.

TEACHER: Anyone who doesn't bring all thehomework to class tomorrow morning will get an "F "
FRED: And anyone who does bring all the homework to class tomorrow morning will get a hernia.

Oh sure! Like going to school for 6 and a half hours a day and then coming home to do more is a big thrill. Love it.
