There's no right age. If you find that it covers up your blemishes and makes you feel better about yourself, then by all means wear it! However, do go to classes about how to do makeup properly. There is nothing more off putting to me (as a man) than badly applied makeup - but then I don't like makeup as a rule and only grudgingly approve of the minimum 'enhancement'!

Personally, if I really liked a girl, acne scars would not matter one little bit! What REALLY matters is a friendly, lovely smile and eyes that you can really lose yourself in ... that usually means a caring heart and a nice person to be with. THAT is what really counts!

None of us are perfect (and, of course, we see our own imperfections more than anyone else does), so it's really best to accept ourselves as we are, if we can. Trying to cover things up often ends up giving us a minus point in other people's eyes. Think about how you yourself react to other people doing similar things!

As other people have said, if you still have acne, then go to a dermatologist or see about clearing it up by good skin hygiene, proper diet and other ways. Some people are unfortunate to have a lot of acne. See it as an indication of something else wrong - hormonal balance or diet - which can be rectified with proper advice and treatment.

it's kind of like asking the question, "when is the best age to wear socks?". there's no minimum age criteria to wearing foundation. what really matters most is to wash your face faithfully and using the right makeup remover cleanser whenever you put on makeup. since you have bad acne and leaves marks, it is better to seek advice from your beautician for professional help in choosing the right foundation for yourself.

Go to a dermatologist, they will give you a script for foundation. It will also be medicated to help treat your acne. If you can't do that, go to make up counter of upscale store, macy's ect, the girl behind the counter should be able to help you. DO NOT let her put anything on your face that has been used, such as at the counter OPEN PRODUCTS, sampler. Try those on back of hand!!

You should try a way to get rid of the acne, not cover it. You probably are what... 13? 14? So, try not to rush the whole makeup thing. It'll probably just make the acne worse (and nothing looks worse than globs of makeup all over someone's face!) So, rather than getting concealer, try proactive or something of the sort.

I definetly wouldn't wear foundation if you have bad acne... I know it sounds like a good way to cover it up, but it will only make it worse...sorry!

First of all, if you have zits, you need to wash your face every morning and night. And secondly, you can start right now if you are self concious about your acne. try this. Put on a dab of liquid makeup on your acne, then put on powder to conceal the makeup. add some mascara and eyeshadow with a light color of eye shadow and you will look pretty. please note that this liquid makeup will not clog your pores if you wash it off every night with some kind of a facial scrub.

it really does depend. I think its fine from when you are a teen. If you have bad acne though, rather try to go for facials and use dermalogica to get rid of it. If you want to you a foundation, use a powder.(kanebos a good one. lots of runway models use it) Powders look very natural, with out going over the top.
Good luck!
