I am a sophmore and am having troubles with a freshman girl. She is very annoying and obnoxious. When I was a freshmen I respected the upperclassmen. I never ever picked on this girl or gave her any grief. She likes to be annoying and make little comments. She screamed "What the hell" at a school event and caused me to get detention. At lunchs shes like" I should dump this drink on you" In response I said " Okay you will wish you never did." I've also had other problems with her which I won't mention. Seriously I am a pretty nice person and don't go around attacking people like she does. I dont believe in violence to solve problems but lately with her my temper is pushed to the max. I feel like kicking her down the bleachers. I've tried being nice about it but its not working. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

We have mutual friends but I dont want to bring this to the principal. I have to see her at least 2 times a day and we both are in a club that involves being together for 4 hours each saturday. Seriously I need some help before I blow up at her.

I wish I could give you advise on what to do, but I really don't know... I just wanted to say it sounds like that girl really is looking for attention... it's quite pathetic really!!! She probably just wants to look like big stuff for picking on an upperclassman. I wouldn't say ignore her, because frankly I don't think that advise works... I think once you ignore someone they just try harder to get your attention. I will say this, I was a really nice girl in school.... never had problems with anyone except for once. This 1 girl and I just clashed.. So this one day I stood up for myself, and really stood up for myself you know... well after that she left me alone...she still gave me those ramdon dirty looks, but nothing more.

One of my son's had a problem like this. However, he was not permitted to take action because he has a high belt in martial arts and would seriously hurt the other annoying boy.
The boy wouldn't stop and persisted in saying annoying things.
The only recourse he had was to tell us because he was close to the breaking point of beating up the other boy.
We in turn contacted the principal and gave him the boys name.
You may want to go to the office and tell the principal yourself. It would however be better if you could get your parents involved. Schools hate for parents to know that their child is being bullied and they haven't done anything because it puts them in a position to be sued for negligence and violates policies on these things. I know you don't want to be a snitch but at this point you don't have a choice as this WILL escalate and more girls will become involved eventually. Sometimes Jealousy is so strong in someone else that it chokes them. Try to focus on your classes and ignore her whenever possible. Write down anything and everything she says to you so that you will have a record. Include the time, date, and location and any possible witnesses.

I suggest you talk to a councelor at your school or wherever. This is what I do most of the time when I have problems.
You can tell her to f*** off of you and teach her respect. Girls like that doesn't deserve hanging with you. They'll just make you go in trouble when they're the one making the trouble.
If you can't take it anymore, scream as loud as you can at a place where no one can hear you (eg. you can lock ur self at your room and scream or do it underground or something). If you can't play aggressive you can sit down with her and tell her what's bugging you. Don't forget to teach her respect, cos that's the most important thing a human must have.
hope this works

Have you ever thought about secretly disrespecting her? put up flyer's around the school that call her a bully, maybe if she gets a taste of her own medicine she'll be so embarrassed she'll realize how much it hurts others to and will stop.

well... if your high school was anything like mine then the teachers/counselors/principals wont do a thing... its time to stop being nice and unleash hell.. or if that isnt you then find a friend who is intimidating and will stick up for you...but dont let her push you around... or you could just distance yourself from her... or ignore her...

Try ignoring her or talking to her friends and finding out what her problem is. You can always go to your school counselor and tell her what is happening. At least that way if something else serious happens you're covered.

Talk with the guidance counselor and the principle. If you can, get your parents to back you up. Otherwise, get her alone, OFF school property and scare the living daylights out of her (but don't kick her butt-- that's so uncool).
