if i ordered something through ground shipping on tuesday, and it hasnt arrived yet but its in transit, is it possible for it to be at my house on saturday? or do i have to wait until monday?

Saturday delivery with UPS is unusal unless an additional premium has been paid. I would think its more likely Monday.

Patience has its virtues. You will have to wait until Monday. If it has arrived at your town, you may be able to pick it up at the terminal. I have done that in the past. I am without virtue.

UPS should have emailed you the tracking information, that is their usual procedure. Check your email.
