For the past 5 years, I've sported overplucked eyebrows. See, my mom did mine the 1st time and they came out so terrible looking, I cried. I let them grow in fully and I had them waxed. Unfortunately, the woman who waxed them, did a terrible job. She took too much off at the beginning and they are in a funny shape. I've kept this shape ever since just because I hate the way my eyebrows look when they start to grow in. It makes my face look dirty...if that makes any sense. So, on average, how long do you think it would take for my eyebrows to grow back in? I've let them go for almost 2 weeks and there is definitely hair growing back under my arch, but at the beginning of my eyebrow, it's really lite and spotty. What can I do to make my eyebrows grow in faster and darker? Any tips?

Just leave them alone. They'll come back. It usually takes mine about 4 weeks to be fully grown and bushy. I recommend that you let them get bushy because after you get them waxed, they'll be dark and pretty. So, it just takes patience. Leave them alone and stop thinking about it.

It will take a few weeks at least but now that you've started, don't tweeze! In the mean time, find a good eyebrow pencil or powder. If you find the right shade you can literally draw your own brows. I've found that powder is better than pencil. Powder looks softer and more natural. Sephora has a great selection. When everything has grown back, look for brow products by Anastasia. She has brow stencils, tweezers and powders, pencils and brushes. Try this: http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=5746

If you have an ongoing problem with the way your eyebrows look and you have some money to spend, laser remove them and have them tattooed in the shape you really like. I seen that on women and it looks great but might be costly!

My eyebrows are worse than yours! They are thick and light and messy and I hate them. Give it time. They'll grow back.
