Fernando Torres tops in every department.
I think he's a better player--both scored 3 goals each in the World Cup, for example, but Torres' team was knocked out far earlier. A direct comparison may not be made regarding how long each team stayed, however; Germany did not play France.
Well, Torres is already captain of Atletico Madrid; Podolski's performances have yet to mature--he's facing a slump of sorts for someone of his hype. Besides the Spanish league is tougher than the Bundesliga--that Bayern Munich isn't even leading in.
Oh well. I don't dislike Podolski though. Just saying things I hear and read about. Podolski has potential; he'll get better, as will Torres.

In my opinion,Fernando Torres is a much better football player in terms of looks,skills and everything..Podolski won the Best Young Player Award,but that doesn't mean that he's better than Torres..somehow,that's just my opinion.

Maybe Podolski,cuz he's younger and more good-looking.
