I have wavy hair and I had my "Straight Hair" phase where I straightened my hair until almost every hair had a split end... then, I cut about two inches of my hair off and I have only straightened it about 4 times in a year... I'm donating my hair to locks of love and so no more straightening for me...
I just put my hair in two braids at night after taking a shower and the next day, it's wonderful and wavy. I just straighten the top two inches of my hair to make it look even. So, curly is better! but wavy rocks too.

I have curly hair and I hated it when I was younger...but now I've learnt to live with it! Just wish it didn't take so long to straighten it as I like some straight styles...still, CURLY RULES

Since I'm older, curly. Its a wash and wear hair. Simply comb, squash together and pull out. Instant hair-do which takes people with straight hair hours to fix.

well my hair is very thick and curly and i hate it, i usually wear my hair up but if i'm going out i get it straightened. so i guess i prefer straight

coming from personal experience, i like straight hair. i have semi-curly hair and it is very thick. it takes me forever to flat-iron it and make it looks like normal straight hair.
