You should have received your divorce certificate at the time of the divorce. Why didn't you. Go to your local court where your divorce was filed and get it. This is your property.

As far as I am aware there is no such thing as a divorce certificate.

The court papers that you had from court that the judge signed off on your divorce is all you need. they are called divorce papers. If you did not get a copy of them ( which your attorney should have given you) or you simply lost them.... you can call up to the court house where your divorce took place and you can retrieve a copy of the papers there. However, their could be a fee you have to pay. You can also go to your attorney and possibly get a copy as well.... check into it.

As said previously soon as you're divorced there is a divorce agreement placed which you have rights to attain. As far as child support goes, you and your spouse have the right for child support to be reviewed every 2 years in the state of Ohio.

You should already have something from the court that proves your divorce. You will have to go back to court to get more support if he doesn't help out willingly. Call the welfare department. They will help stear you in the right direction. You may even be able to get free legal representation.

There is no divorce certificate if you are in the US. Your divorce per say is the document which says you are divorced. You probably already have it.
