My new bf is Italian really good looking, kind, gentle, protective, caring, and respectful to my parents and me but seems to treat me on occasion as a piece of property most recently in front of all his male friends he grabed my butt and the entire time we were there with them he could not seem to take his hands off me. I felt really uncomfortable with this and he also does not like me hanging out with too many other guys or going to partys without him their. He says i am too trusting and naive with people we did have a situation with a male friend off mine who hit one me while drunk and my bf went crazy broke the guys nose!

He seems to be very protective of you, which is good in some ways, but not in others! If you feel uncomfortable you need to express your feelings. A spouse is someone your supposed to feel comfortable with, not someone to be scared of!! I think you need to show him the door and move on in life to find someone who you have things in common with!! Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with a b/f who acts like your dad??I was in a relationship like this for about 4 years!

Respect yourself. If it doesn't feel right to you for him to touch you in intimate places in public, insist that he doesn't. It's your body. He is probably proud to haveyou as his girl but he is acting like a child. Hold his hand, let him put his arm around your waist, perhaps touch you intimately when no one is looking, but not in front of others. Don't let him own you. Don't lose your own identity just to please him. Do let him protect you if someone else is disrespecting you.
