I cook, I do laundry, I do dishes, I do some house work, I mow the lawn, I repair our cars, and I am the man. My wife is the primary bread winner in this family, so I don't mind doing the household chores. All men should help their wives do some house work, IF, their wives work outside the home too. This started for us years ago when I became the secondary wage earner and spent more time at home. I was the Primary wage producer for about the first 16 years of our marriage, however, I did little around the house at that time. Not all men are the same and we shouldn't be lumped as a unit, we are all different. Hope this shed some light on the situation.........good luck !

Are you serious? Well, you may be Asian, but not me. Asians are supposed to be little servants. I however, am BLESSED with an amazing husband. I am in college and he works. When we get in, he does ALL the laundry and cleaning, I do the cooking. He puts the kids to bed, does home work with them. The ist goes on & on. Then when he comes to be I get even more attention ;). Next time you get a man, look into how he was reared. If a man was reared in a home where the woman does it all, then he will naturally expect that. My husband was reared in a home, unlike that ~ thank GOD !!

Because some weak minded woman will always be there to do those things for them. Their mommies did it and they usually find a woman that will keep being their mommy.

There are some good men out there who respect their spouses and help with those chores or they truely appreciate when their spouses do those chores. And they act like they are part of a team instead of things being one sided.

So, if you are cooking and cleaning and doing all this stuff........its because YOU chose to do it. He's not forcing you to do it.........

Leave his clothes in a pile next to the washer and wash only yours. He will get the picture when he doesnt have clean underwear.

Some men are helpless, but there are a few good ones out there. My man and I take care of each other, I can't cook so he does, then I clean up. He goes a little overboard trying to take care of me, sometimes i just have to tell him that I know how to get my own drink.

My husband can out do me in cooking, ironing, laundry etc. You must have the wrong guy or one who needs training. My guy is wonderful and can take care of himself and me quite nicely. We share in our duties but when one of us is not feeling well or is quite busy, we certainly help one another. You may need to show him how do laundry, etc. His mom must have been a bit lacking in making her son self sufficient.

Because men are meant to be pets. Keep them fat and happy in a cage, take them out and use them when you need to and then put them back with a cookie. You would be alot happier if you did this.

Men can do things themselves...if you are doing everything for them, then that's why they don't. I don't mind doing those things for my husband, but I do know if I didn't he would find a way to do them...They have to eat, and they need clean clothes, so stop doing those things, and see if he can....If you do everything for him, why would he have a reason to do it! Good luck and take care!
