ok i just bought the Z520i a few hours ago. I started charging it. But once or twice, i had to open the phone to check how far it was... (the outside screen only showed time). and now, after like 2 hrs of charging, it says its done. Does this make the quality of the abttery life really bad? will it b a problem? because i really dnt want my phone to hav a crappy battery life just because i opened the fone once or twice... what do u think? will it have an effect on the battery life? shud i leave the charger on or diconnect it? i rly dunno wat to do...

This will/cannot make the battery life of your phone bad. Don't worry about it. The best thing you can do for battery life, is sometime ASAP just drain the batter, keep using the phone untill the batter dies, turn it on a few times till the battery is tottaly dead. Then plug it in for a few hours, let it charge 100% up, and that should give you the max battery time possible. Don't worry about opening it, when you open it, the charger powers the battery, which powers the screen, not a big deal. Even when your charing the phone, its using battery to keep it on, keep in touch with the tower, keep track of time, ect...Hope I helped

As long as you left the charger on it, then you shouldn't have a problem with it. But if you start to then let it completely drain until the phone shuts off on it's own and then recharge it to get a full charge and maybe do it when your sleeping so it completely charges all the way. What you did, did not shorten the life of the battery. No matter what the battery life shortens over time.

I don't think you have to worry about anything- most phones will let off a beep if the battery is fully charged anyway.
