it really is quite hard. i'm surely leaning on the area of impossibility. yet you stated there is an answer. If anybody ended up. it really is what I did. anybody ended with 8 marbles. there is 8 human beings. 8x8=sixty 4 If boys lost one and received 2: 8-a million=7+2=9 If the ladies lost 2 and received a million: 8-2=6+a million=7 So the 5 boys had 9 firstly and the ladies had 7 firstly. yet!!!: once you multiply that out: 9x5=40 5 7x3=21 40 5+21=sixty six sixty six does no longer equivalent sixty 4. because of this i imagine this isn't plausible.

Maybe it is just me, but this question doesn't make any sense without any background. That is why you can't help him. Maybe you should look for examples of similar problems in the textbook or workbook pages, and work from that. My guess is that you are missing some directions, instruction, or information in your question here, and that's why no one can help you. I teach grade 5 and have never seen such a thing. Sorry, I'd really like to help.

I think you need to rephase your question: How it is stated in you book. Also can your parents help you, or a friend.
