looking for a better and cheaper vehicle, to run, due to all these high gas prices. I, know battery is several thousand dollars, to replace afer 80-100,000 miles. plan to keep car, much longer than that. But that is a lot to fork out, for one repair. I also read, if something goes wrong with the battery, you begin to slow down. What happens, if your on the highway?

The Toyota Camry (same car as just Camry) is a wonderful car. It is basically an entry-level Lexus, without the 'status' that Lexus enjoys. Toyota builds wonderful, low maintenance cars. I've been driving the same one since 1994 and can tell you that from personal experience, I have no reservations about recommending Toyota products to you. The battery stuff you're reading is probably written by people who sell cars for the competition. They are scare-stories, nothing more.

I have Toyota Camry for over 10 years and love it. I have had very little work done to it, other than maintenance. I now how over 200,000 miles on it and still going. Gets very good gas mileage. Can't beat that.I will buy another when the time comes.
